Overview
Marsu Limited- a Public Limited company registered under the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms, Govt. of Bangladesh and also an active member of Bangladesh Cold Storage Association. The company was established by the Late Mahbubar Rahman Sikder who was the founder and Chairman of the company.
The company specializes in cold storage was established in mid ’80 located at New Ferry Ghat Road, Daudkandi, Cumilla, Bangladesh provides the integrated cold chain solution to Vegetables, Potato, Egg, Corn (Maize), Fruits and Fish preservers. Its total preserving capacity is 16,000 M.Ton (approx.).
The management is well experienced in the cold storage business for a long. At first, the plant & machinery was set up by the world-renowned Mycom brand, in Japan. In 2017-2018 the factory has been renovated with its civil construction & insulation systems and installed the latest and modern technology refrigeration machines from Japan, China, and India in the plant. Also, set up 02 nos. of Conveyor Belt Systems in the factory imported from India and this technology is the first time in Bangladesh.
Strategically Located
The Factory is located on the Dhaka-Chattogram highways near New Ferryghat Road, Daudkandi, Cumilla, Bangladesh. It is about 50 KM from Dhaka city and also Dhaka Int’l Airport and takes about 90 minutes to reach there by car. The Chattogram Sea Port is about 200 KM from the factory and travel time is about 4 hours by roadway.
